We are taking an amazing coastal road to the beautiful old town of Šibenik. On our way to Šibenik we will have a panoramic view of the stone town of Primošten; short break with a fairy-tale view. You will be enjoying a lot of nice stories, music and sceneries on the way to Šibenik.
After my unique story of Šibenik and introducing it to you you will have an hour of free time to wander on your own. You will see the Cathedral of St.Jacob, which is on the Unesco list of world heritage and one of the most beautiful in Croatia. The cathedral is situated in the old town which you can also explore.
From Šibenik we will be going to Krka National Park which is only 15 min away.
On its paths through the greenery, there are seven main waterfalls in the National Park. The last and most impressive is Skradinski buk (Skradin rapids) with an average flow of 55 cubic meters of water per second. Skradinski buk is considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe. There are 17 cascades stretching over 800 m and falling from the total height of 46 m.
National Park Krka
is rich in flora and fauna. Home to 222 bird species, it is one of the most valuable ornithological areas in Europe. In addition, over 1000 species and subspecies of plants have been identified within its territory, including several endemic species. The Krka River is the habitat for 18 species of fish, among which ten are endemic. It’s making the Krka a natural landmark of the highest category.
I will make sure you have an unforgettable experience of exploring the natural beauty of the National Park Krka. After a few panoramic stops and a story of the park you will have 4 hours of free time and plenty of time for swimming and wandering around.
On our way back from the National Park we will visit a small charming riverside town called Skradin to which you come by a boat from the National Park. We might hop on a boat to exit the park if there isn’t a long wait to get on board.
After the tour through Skradin we will relax in an old local winery serving authentic high quality wines and grappa from the area. We will snack on best cheese in homemade olive oil and enjoy wine presentation in a great atmosphere.
On our way back home, we will stop on the hill above Trogir. You will be amazed by the breath-taking view of Trogir, Split and the islands of Šolta, Brač, Hvar. If the sky is clear you will be able to see all the way to the island of Vis.
